According with the Romanian law all activities ensuring the protection of industrial property over the territory of Romania is carried out by OSIM (the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks). Some of the information bellow is originated at OSIM's website.

Upon reporting of an invention or application submission to OSIM, a team of CTTM will evaluate the invention to assess patentability and probability of commercial success, as well as the need for patent protection to ensure rapid and effective development of the invention. CTTM will insure the broadest possible patent protection for commercially valuable inventions.
