  • Laboratorul de Supraveghere a Contaminarii Interne Radioactive, LSCIR-CCU, face parte din Organismul Integrat de Dozimetrie Interna, Radiochimie si Mediu - OIDIRM / Departamentul de Fizica Vietii si Mediului, din cadrul Institutului National pentru Fizica si Inginerie Nucleara "Horia Hulubei".

    LSCIR-CCU isi desfasoara activitatea conform documentatiei OIDIRM de Asigurare a Calitatii, ce respecta prevederile standardelor nationale si internationale in domeniu, in vigoare, ale CNCAN, IAEA, ICRP, ISO CEI (SR EN ISO CEI17025:2005).
    Din anul 2000, LSCIR-CCU a fost, succesiv, agreata si desemnata ca Organism de Dozimetrie Individuala pentru masurarea incorporarii si atribuirea dozei de catre Comisia Nationala pentru Controlul Activitatilor Nucleare.

    LSCIR-CCU executa monitorizarea periodica si speciala a contaminarii radioactive interne ocupationale pentru intreg corpul si tiroida, pentru personalul cu risc potential de expunere interna la radiatii ionizante din unitati nucleare din spitale, industrie, cercetare, securitate si siguranta nationala, centre de fabricare a produselor radiofarmaceutice, centre de iradiere industriala, de colectare si tratare a deseurilor radioactive.
    De asemenea, LSCIR-CCU executa si monitorizari speciale ale radionuclizilor incorporati, pentru persoane din populatie supuse investigatiilor si tratamentelor de medicina nucleara sau in caz de accident nuclear.


    Echipamente

    LSCIR-CCU este echipat cu doua Instalatii de monitorizare a contaminarii interne radioactive:
    1. Contorul de Corp Uman, in geometrie scaun inclinat, ecranat, este un sistem spectrometric gama echipat cu 2 detectori de scintilatie NaI(Tl) pentru intreg corpul (D=127mm, L=100mm) si tiroida (D=40mm, L=60mm) pentru detectia radionuclizilor incorporati, emitatori de radiatii gama, in domeniul energetic 100 keV- 1500 keV si cu activitati in domeniul 370Bq - 2,5 MBq. Electronica asociata detectorilor se compune din module in standard NIM, iar programul de emulare a functiei de Analizor Multicanal este Scintivision-32, al firmei ORTEC.

    2. Contor de Corp Uman, in geometrie scaun, echipat cu detector de germaniu hiperpur de la firma ORTEC, cu fereastra de carbon, de geometrie speciala pentru surse radioactive de volum (D=85mm, L=32mm), ce va permite detectia radiatiilor X si gama ale radionuclizilor incorporati, in domeniul energetic 10keV -2500 keV, cu rezolutii excelente, de 600 eV la linia de 14,4 keV a Co-57 si de 1,90 keV la linia de 1332 keV a Co-60. Electronica asociata detectorului HPGe este de generatie noua, digitala, cu control complet al tuturor functiilor de Analizor Multicanal cu un numar maxim de 16384 canale de achizitie, al parametrilor de polarizare a detectorului, de amplificare si formare a semnalelor. In plus, asigura si securizarea datelor si transferul rapid al acestora spre programul de prelucrare spectre, Renaissance-32, de la firma ORTEC.

    Calibrarea spectrometrelor gama se face cu fantome BOMAB, din material echivalent tesut si prin metode numerice Monte Carlo.
    Calculul incorporarii in termeni de activitate, al retentiei de radionuclid la diferite momente dupa incorporare, al dozelor echivalente si a celei efective este asigurat de programul specializat IMBA de la HPA/Marea Britanie, care are implementate ultimele modele metabolice si biocinetice recomandate de ICRP pentru majoritatea radionuclizilor.
