We are pleased to announce the second NewCompstar school, following the 2014 edition held in Barcelona. The format will consist of five courses on more basic and general topics, a few seminars on more specific topics and some practical exercise sessions. Few time slots will be dedicated to student poster presentations.

The school venue
is the Law Faculty of the University of Bucharest situated in the charming and quiet Cotroceni district of central Bucharest.
is available in the Academica Guest House of the University of Bucharest situated 50 m far from the lecture hall. The prices are 80 lei/person/night in double occupancy rooms and 100 lei/person/night in single occupancy rooms. Lunches and dinners (except conference dinner) will be offered from Monday to Friday in the university restaurant for 40 lei/meal.
The number of participants is limited to 60. The school welcomes participation of PhD students and young post-docs all over the world. There will be no conference fee. According to the European Cooperation in Science and Technology policy, travel and accommodation expenses of all eligible European participants will be partially covered by the NewCompstar action.
is July 15th. Participants are encouraged to register as early as possible. Students are requested to provide a CV and two recommendation letters. Participation and Poster acceptances will be notified by the end of July.
