we are pleased to announce the second NewCompstar school
"Dense matter in compact stars" to be held in Bucharest, Romania, between
21 and 25 September.
The school will consist of 5 courses on more basic and general topics,
a few seminars on more specific topics and some practical exercise sessions.
We will also leave time for student poster presentations.
The list of topics we aim to cover includes:
transport phenomena and reaction rates for compact stars and supernovae,
nucleosynthesis in the neutron star mergers, crustal heating in accreting
superconductivity and superfluidity, quark and hadronic matter, equation
