Transport from and to the airport (this link)

     Public express line:

  • The 783 Express line connects Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport with the city center (Piata Unirii). This line runs day and night. At night, the bus leaves every 40 minutes.
  • Schedule for 783  from Airport to Piata Unirii 2 and from Piata Unirii 2 to Airport
  • The bus station situated near Sheraton Bucharest Hotel is Piata Romana. (map)

     Airport stops:

  • In front of the Arrivals Terminal and Departures Terminal
  • The price for two travels costs 7 lei and the magnetic card 1.6 lei.
  • The magnetic card must be validated in the bus.
  • Card desk: in front of the Arrivals Terminal (ground floor)

     You may pay the bus ticket using your mobile phone:

  • for bus 783, send a SMS to 7458 and write E783, the price is 0,89 Euro for one way ticket
  • for any bus inside Bucharest, send a SMS to 7458 and write A, the price is 1,96 Euro for a ticket valid one day
