IFIN-HH is hosting several scientific and public engagement events geared towards researchers, students or the general public. SAlt-R (”Școala Altfel ReCoNnect”)

Between 15 and 26 April 2024, we will organise the 8th edition of the SAlt-R (”Școala Altfel ReCoNnect”).
ReCoNnect 3 (https://noapteacercetatorilor.educatiepentrustiinta.ro/) is an iteration of two previous European Researcher’s Night projects proposed by the same consortium which is based on the strong interest and existing science outreach and educational programs that all partners have, either developed together or separately at the local and regional level. The main mission of the consortium is to create the critical mass of scientists involved in outreach activities such that the recommendations as those in The European Charter for Researchers: “researchers should ensure that their research activities are made known to society at large in such a way that they can be understood by non-specialists” or “direct engagement with the public will help researchers to better understand public interest in priorities for science and technology and also the public’s concerns” are adopted as a practice in research institutions in Romania.
